Dwight Martin

DWIGHT MARTIN

Dwight is thankful to be able to say that he was raised in a Godly, Christian home, literally in the shadows of Highland Park Baptist Church and under the pastorate of Dr. Lee Roberson.  He attended Tennessee Temple from kindergarten through college where God called him into the ministry. He has been on staff at Calvary since 1995, serving as Youth Pastor for 15 years, before moving into an Assistant Pastor role and is now Senior Pastor.

Dwight and his wife, Kelly, met in high school at Tennessee Temple and were married May 7, 1994.  They have been blessed with three awesome children: Abby, Noah, and Emma. Contact him at dwight.martin@calvaryredbank.org

Chris Ware

CHRIS WARE

Chris and his family joined Calvary in August 2008 right after moving to Chattanooga from Woodstock, Georgia.  Within a few months Pastor Dwight Martin, Youth Pastor at the time, asked Chris to consider serving in the youth ministry because of his previous youth ministry experience. He began serving as a small group leader, and by the fall of 2010 began to lead the middle school ministry. He also began teaching the College and Singles SS Class, and has recently handed it off to teach the Home Builders SS Class.  In the fall of 2011, Chris was approached by the leadership of the church to consider serving in a part-time role as Assistant Pastor, and in April of 2012, he began serving in a full-time position as Assistant Pastor.  God has blessed Chris with a wonderful family.  He met his wife Jessica during his first two years of college at Tennessee Temple University. They got married in 1999, a year after Chris graduated from Midwestern Baptist College with Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education. They have four amazing daughters: Jensen, Emersyn, Reese and Taite.

To contact Chris Ware, please email him at chris.ware@calvaryredbank.org

Aaron McGuirt 1 (2)

AARON MCGUIRT

Aaron is blessed to have been raised in a Christian home.  He graduated from Tennessee Temple High School in 1997 and Pensacola Christian College in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Business Management.  He served in youth ministry for 10 years then surrendered to preach and to full-time ministry in early 2012.

In February 2009, Aaron married Dana who was also raised in a Christian home.  She graduated from Boyce College with a Biblical Counseling degree.  Two years later, God gave them the wonderful opportunity to be the legal guardians of Chase Moore, a two year-old at the time.  Then in June 2012, God answered their prayers with the birth of their son, Aiden Uriah McGuirt.

To contact Aaron McGuirt, please email aaron.mcguirt@calvaryredbank.org

Nate Click 1 (2)

NATE CLICK

Nate Click became the children’s pastor at Calvary in February of 2015, after serving as a youth and children’s pastor in Ohio.

He trusted Christ at a young age and was raised in a Christian family. He worked in children’s ministry as a teenager; and after high school, he attended West Coast Baptist College where he taught a Sunday school class for four years. Nate graduated from college in the spring of 2012 and met his wife, Cindi, the following summer. After finishing college he continued to work at Lancaster Baptist Church as a member of the church’s media team while he and Cindi dated.

In the summer of 2013, God called Nate to Fremont, OH where he led the youth and children’s program, and he and Cindi married in the spring of 2014.

TOM MCGUIRT

Tom McGuirt was saved while visiting visiting the Good Shepard Baptist Church while he was a student at the University of Tampa studying commercial art.  He came to Chattanooga to attend Temple Baptist Theological Seminary earning a Bachelor in Religious Education.  Bro. Tom pastored the Good Shepherd Baptist Church before coming back to the Chattanooga area to pastor Tiftonia Baptist Church in 1988.  When full-time mission work with International Board of Jewish Missions began for him in 2008, Bro. Tom and his family started attending Calvary.  He now serves as our Senior Adult Pastor while continuing his work with IBJM.  Bro. Tom has been happily married to his wife, Glenda, since 1969.  Their three grown children are Alan, Andrea, and Aaron.  They have four grandchildren and are blessed to be raising Mya Moore.

PHIL CRITTENDEN

Phil is grateful to have been raised in a Christian home that helped guide him to a saving knowledge and a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ at age 12.    After graduating from Auburn University, Phil came to Chattanooga in May 2004, and joined Calvary Baptist Church shortly thereafter.  It was here that he met his wife, Nicole, and together, they count the opportunity to raise 3 wonderful daughters — Baylie, Brenna, and Braelyn — among their greatest blessings.

Phil has a passion for music and has been involved in various means of music ministry for most of his life.  Since April 2013, he has enjoyed serving the Lord and the people of Calvary Baptist Church by leading the music ministry as a layman within the church.

Calvary Cares Ministry

Calvary Cares are not just words – they strive to convey the love, compassion, and concern our Pastor, his staff, and our congregation has for each person. We want to express that love through keeping you “in touch” with your church family even when you are unable to attend the services in person*.

What we offer:

    • - Each week you will be mailed a bulletin, prayer sheet, and CD or DVD plus an appropriate greeting card to cheer and encourage you.

Who can take advantage of this service?

    • - Shut-ins
    • - People of any age who have had surgery or any other condition which will keep them from attending church for an extended period of time
    • - People in Hospice

What do you need to do to be added to the list?

    • - Contact J.C. Hall by email or calling 423-877-6750 or have someone fill out the form at the Information Desk.
    • - Be sure to keep J.C. informed if you need the mailings stopped or want to change what you receive.

This ministry is constantly growing, and we have some exciting new plans for the future.  New services will be announced as they become available.

*Please note that you can access the most recent sermons on our website under Media on the menu bar.
